this is how I look when I smile

Hi there! If you found this page, I’m looking for a job. That’s it.

TL;DR: I’m great at web development in Python, good at team leading, I understand business and developers, and I’m good at frontend. Remote or with relocation to Europe / Canada.

Contacts:

I am looking for a cool team with an interesting product that I can actively influence. For now, I am interested in the vacancies of a developer with wide responsibility or team leader vacancies. I am able and ready to write in Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask, aiohttp) and Vue.js. I can quickly learn React, Angular, Kotlin, and Go.

I am good at a team and technical processes. I can't imagine life without tests, linters, containers, and fast CI/CD. I know how to listen, I know how to convince.

Semrush, Head of Engineering

I started a new chapter of my career with a new challenge: Engineering Manager for the entire Knowledge Sharing department. My responsibilities include hiring and resource planning, strategy development, architecture decisions, alignment with company and department vision.

I proposed a new solution for universal search across the company's diverse documentation sources, then hired the team and built internal processes from scratch. Project was mentioned several times as the "new big thing" in the infrastructure division.

Redistributed resources among existing teams to achieve greater impact on high-priority projects. With these changes, department met management goals (3x user growth, meet compliance deadlines, strong autonomous teams)

Built an infrastructure solution for the Sellzone.com platform: entry points, internal services, and “glue work” between. From billing and subscription system to the special API gateway to Amazon APIs.

Managed team process and achieved a speedup of shipping up to 3x. The team had

Backend on Django and FastAPI, frontend on Gatsby and React, CI/CD on Gitlab and Helm.

Started as a Backend Developer, and continued as a Backend Team Lead.

Refactored a big monolith Django backend to nice isolated apps with 90+ test coverage. Accelerated backend development and accidentally automated one of the business processes saving 4000 working hours for the company.

When the project became economically unviable I stayed on it for additional two months and mothballed the backend and frontend to the state when it was working without any actions needed.
